Welcome to the Nordfleet operator guide. These pages walk through the everyday tasks of running your fleet from the dashboard.

Core concepts

Before you start, it helps to know how the platform models your business:

• Asset group — a customer-facing class of vehicle, such as “Economy” or “VW Golf”. Customers book a group, not a specific car.
• Asset — an individual physical vehicle with its own plate and details (for example, plate SU-123-AB). Each asset belongs to one asset group.
• Rate — the price for an asset group over time (daily, hourly, weekly, or monthly), including currency and tax.
• Reservation — a booking request for an asset group and date range.
• Rental — the active contract that assigns a specific asset to a driver.

Recommended order

If you are setting up a new fleet, work through the guides in this order:

1. Add a car — register your physical vehicles.
2. Create a rate — set what each group costs.
3. Create a booking — take your first reservation.
